Ausgangspunkt der Zeichnungen ist eine ägyptische, spätantike Tunika des Museums für Byzantinische Kunst, dem Bode Museum in Berlin, ein Manteltuch im Besitz des Koptischen Museums Kairo und 63 ägyptische spätantike Stofffragmente aus dem Textilbestand des Kulturhistorischen Museums Magdeburg. ///
The drawings refer an Egyptian late antique tunic that is a part of the Museum of Byzantine Art, the Bode Museum in Berlin, a shawl in the possession of the Coptic Museum Cairo and to 63 fragments of fabric from Egypt (late antiquity) belonging to the textile collection of the Museum of Cultural History in Magdeburg.
