2014 habe ich viel Zeit damit verbracht ins Wasser zu schauen – sich spiegelnde Wolken, treibende Blätter, unklare Untergründe und Fische zu beobachten. Erst viel später habe ich angefangen kritzelnd und träumend die diffusen Formen einzufangen.
Dabei wiederhole ich immerzu die Erinnerung an eine bestimmte Beobachtung.

In 2014, I spent a lot of time looking into the water – watching the reflection of clouds, drifting leaves, unclear depths, and fish. Only much later did I begin to capture these diffuse shapes in my dreams and in scribbled sketches.
I thus again and again repeat the memory of a particular observation.
